The fierce battle that raged in July of 1863 in this small Pennsylvania town changed the course of the Civil War. When forces under General George Meade, assigned just that week to command the Union Army, turned back General Robert E. Lee's forces at the copse of trees on Cemetery Ridge, the Confederate forces were as far north as they would ever be.
Join FROG in visiting Gettysburg June 23-25, 2017. Tour the Battlefield, visit the quaint town of Gettysburg, and experience American History as it exists in few other places.
