FROG Gettysburg Gathering

June 24 - 26, 2016

Gettysburg Campground
2030 Fairfield Road
Gettysburg, PA

Step back in time to re-live the three bloodiest and among the most profound days in American history. Visit the battlefields where over 57,000 casualties occurred in three days. Stand on the heights of Big and Little Round Tops, gazing out across the cornfields where some of the fiercest fighting occurred. Walk across the fields where Pickett's Charge signalled the northernmost surge of Confederate forces. Stand at the copse of trees on Cemetery Ridge, the target of the charge and the high water mark of the Confederacy, where General George Meade's forces repelled General Robert E. Lee's armies only three days after Meade had assumed command of Union forces.

Visit the quiet solemnity of the cemetery that Abraham Lincoln dedicated with the eloquenty words of his Gettysburg Address. Experience the Cyclorama, the museums, and the town that still feels as if you've stepped a century and a half back in time.

Your Gettysburg experience will include two nights of camping, dinner, optional ghost tour, and more. Make your reservation with Gettysburg Campground at (888) 879-2241 or (717) 334-3304. Offseason office hours are 9:00 - 3:00 M-Tue Thur-Fr and Saturday morning (closed Wed). Tell the campground you're with Brian Klann and the FROG group. Current rates are $64/night + tax for 50-amp, $59/night + tax for 30-amp. A discount (probably 10%) will be applied at check-in.
