2019 Upstate New York FROG Rally
July 19-21, 2019
Chenango Valley State Park is an ice age wonder. Its two kettle lakes, Lily and Chenango, were created when the last glacier retreated and left behind huge chunks of buried ice which melted to form the lakes and bog. Birdwatchers may glimpse woodpeckers, nut hatches, warblers and thrushes along woodland trails and herons, ducks and kingfishers lakeside. Fishermen will find trout, bass, perch and bullhead in Chenango Lake.
Park amenities include Boat Rentals, Cabins, Camper Assistance Program, Camper Recreation, Campsites, Dumping Stations, Food, Nature Trails, Pavilions, Picnic Tables, Playgrounds, Showers, Swimming Beach, Tent/Trailer Sites. Activities available in the park include Biking, Fishing, Hiking, Recreation Programs, Sledding, and X-Country Skiing.
Day visitors will be charged the Park entrance fee. Camping rates for 30-amp sites are $21 Sun-Thur and $25 Fri, Sat & Holiday. Rates for 50-amp sites are $23 Sun-Thur and $27 Fri, Sat & Holiday. Reservation fee is $9, Walk-in fee is $2.75, and Out of State fee is $5 per night.
The park is located just outside Binghamton, NY in Chenango Forks, NY. It is 1 hour from Corning or Ithaca, and 1 ½ hours from Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. You'll enjoy many of the beautiful sites and attractions of upstate New York and relax in a state park with lots of trails, lakes and tranquility. Come and enjoy the outdoors with fellow FROGS.
